Twister Group for Regional Level Swimmers

This program is designed for swimmers who are learning how to race and compete at the regional level. The Twister group focuses on developing and refining race-specific skills in a supportive and structured training environment.

1. Training Focus

Race-Specific Skills: Develop race-specific skills and strategies in a supportive and structured training environment.
Technique Refinement: Focus on refining freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke techniques, with an introduction to butterfly.
Discipline and Structure: Teach the importance of discipline and structure within the sport, understanding the relationship between effort and outcome.

2. Skill Development

Regional Competition Skills: Develop necessary skills for regional-level competitions.
Experienced Coaching: Coaches work closely with swimmers to refine stroke techniques, improve efficiency, and build race-specific strategies.
Racing Skills: Learn important racing skills such as starts, turns, and finishes to enhance competitive performance.

3. Age and Training Frequency

Eligibility: Open to swimmers aged 6 and older with basic swimming proficiency.

Season Schedule: Aligns with the club's training schedule, typically running from the second week of September until June.
